ACX offers a brokerage service for client's wishing to trade emissions commodities on the Electronic Emissions Trading Platform (EETP). The EETP is accessed by approved Brokers as listed on the ACX list of Approved Brokers
To become a client of an ACX Broker you must open a new account with an ACX Broker. To open an account contact ACX Broking Services by calling +61 8 9347 8000 or by email. After supplying your contact details, you will receive a New Account Pack containing:
- New Account Application Form
- Client Agreement Form
- Privacy Brochure
Once approved by the Client Accounts Department, you will be assigned a Client Identification Number (CIN) and a Client Account within the Brokers Settlement Account for the settlement of trades.
It should be noted that accounts cannot be opened in a name other than those by which the person or corporation is ordinarily known. Contract/confirmation notes will be issued in the name of the account holder only.
